A big, chiseled Cab from South Aus's Langhorne Creek region, this is minty with a layer of chocolatey oak over the cherry-preserve fruit. It feels a bit tired, despite its relatively young age. The palate is wound tightly in raspy tannins, but tangy fruit peeks between the cracks and the acidity is nicely balanced. Christina Pickard
