Heartland 2019 Shiraz (Langhorne Creek)

Dark-chocolate, mint and gentle baking-spice aromas back ripe, almost confected, primary cherries and plum fruit, framed by cola oak. The palate feels a bit sour and harsh and while the fruit remains in the fore, it falls flat, especially at the short finish, where the oak dries out the mouth. Christina Pickard
