Tomato leaf, baked beans and burnt leather challenge the wine's purity, but patience is rewarded with dry, herbal flavors and spicy wood notes. Mouthfeel and body are the wine's attributes; otherwise it's fairly wedded to the saucy, stewy style that can be Argentina. One-third each of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Syrah. Michael Schachner
