Just a handful of Oregon wineries produce this varietal wine, and one hopes more will follow. Fresh, leesy and rich, with mineral-soaked flavors, this broadens out in the mouth with apple-flavored fruit. There's an appealing note of toasted cracker, peanut shells and a whiff of sea breeze. It's a fascinating wine.
