This 100% Syrah bottling comes through with outstanding concentration, depth and detail for its price. Green tea, wet hay, forest floor, earth and herb dominate, but the fruit is right behind, ripe and firm, a taut mix of berry and cassis. It's got excellent length and a wonderfully focused midpalate; a joy to drink.
