The Pomatia blend in 2009 is 45% Syrah, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 10% Cab Franc. The emphasis on Syrah brings a defining sweetness along with compact berry flavors that carry a hint of green olive. As always, this is a palate-friendly, accessible and well-priced wine.
