This is a delicate spicy wine despite its robust ripeness and brawny underside. Compost and brambly brush combine with blackberry and an undeniably delicious streak of white pepper, making for a complex, complete wine that's enjoyable from start to finish. Virginie Boone

I really do not know how you gave this wine a 93 rating. I eagerly anticipated my first sip last night. It was a very strange taste fore a Zinfandel Very strong tastes of bitter cherry. Thin . Almost like I was dinking a poor Pinot Noir. Other strange tastes on the mid-palate Thankfully the finish was not long though my mouth needed a rinse.
