Henry Estate 2017 Pinot Noir (Umpqua Valley)

Showing mature colors at the rim and a neutral, woody, dried out palate, this wine seems to be moving past its optimal drinking window. Secondary fruit flavors of cherry leather (if such exists) and astringent, flattening tannins dominate, with a bit of burn through the finish. Paul Gregutt
