Henry Fuchs 2017 Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

An ethereal cloud of crushed yarrow, chamomile and fresh red apple peel hits the sensory pleasure center at first whiff. The palate of this wine has lots of apple freshness, combining ripe tartness and juicy refreshment. Slender, concentrated and dry, the body conveys vivid urgency. That initial freshness expands on the dry, fresh finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
