Henry Fuchs 2017 Pinot Gris (Alsace)

The nose of this wine has an earthy hint of russet-pear peel and is rather subdued. On the palate the gentle purity of pear flesh appears, countered by a mellow touch of oak. This wine is juicy and fluid but also measured and concentrated. The finish is appetizing and off dry. Anne Krebiehl MW
