This wine, from a part of the Limestone Coast just north of Coonawarra, hits a couple of Cabernet's stereotypes. While moderately full bodied, there's a dip in intensity on the midpalate. While predominantly dark-fruited, it shows some weedy, herbal notes as well. It does end positively, on notes of chocolate and cassis, with a supple, creamy texture. Ready to drink now.
