A rather unique take on Merlot, which makes up 85% of the blend. The nose is reminiscent of basil, oregano and molasses. The flavor profile is piercing, with spicy red raspberries, vanilla cream, pepper and cumin. Lightweight and streamlined despite its hefty 14.2% alcohol. Basically it's an oddball that's hard to pin down, yet the quality is there.
