Powerful in nature, this wine is full of raspberry, red cherry, earth and floral notes, with some charred wood in the background. There's some heat on the palate alongside overt oak and chewy tannins, but the acidity is there, as is the fruit. This just needs time in the cellar. Drink 2020–2037.
