From the eastern-reaching Chiles Valley appellation, the vines planted in 1975, this is a soft, juicy and well-made wine, blended with 3% Merlot. Red and black berry star, complemented by a treasure trove of clove. Grippy on the finish, it should cellar well, a robust, full-bodied wine that finishes with a taste of coffee.
