84pointsHigh Pass 2016 Zauberberg Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This is a chewy, earthy wine with flavors of wet grass. Though Pommard clone grapes are indicated, there's very little in the way of Pommard's generous, ripe, upfront cherry fruit. Rhubarb and thinly generic red berry flavors are buried here in scents and tastes of grass cuttings. Paul Gregutt
