Higueruela 2008 Red (Almansa)

Green and hard, with carob and ashtray aromas. The palate is simple and narrow, with sour red-fruit flavors that come to a slightly bitter ending. A defining combination of tartness and bubble gum dust isn't impressive. Michael Schachner
