Hinman 2000 Rogue Red Red (Rogue Valley)

“Rogue” is right—there's Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Malbec in here. It's a good wine, but its components keep it from having much of a discernible style of its own. Roasted red berries and cherries dominate the palate; finishes with oak and a little acid. —D.M.
