Hoffmann & Rathbone 2018 White (England)

A creamy notion of hazelnut is suggested on the nose. The palate comes in with that same, almost emollient, creaminess. It presents an ideal counterpoint to the inherent freshness of the palate. An oaked style of Bacchus, this still has the grass, nettle and elderflower highlights so typical of this variety. The body is slender, and the finish is long with lemon and dry. Anne Krebiehl MW
