Högl 2017 Ried Schön Federspiel Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

A rather shy nose leads onto a rounded, concentrated palate where a pleasantly bitter edge of pith frames full flavor. There is white pepper and salty yeast and that phenolic quality of Grüner that gives so much structure. This is dry but best with food. Anne Krebiehl MW
