Hogue 2000 Merlot (Columbia Valley (WA))

Best Buy

This is the first time Hogue has made a varietally designated Merlot for their budget line, and it's a solid effort. Sweet, pretty fruit is played against tart tannins, with just a hint of cinnamon and mocha spice. Good for the price. Paul Gregutt
