Holly's Hill 2009 Patriarche Blanc White (El Dorado)

This is one of those wines that taste sweet and dry at the same time. There's superripe orange and pineapple marmalade fruit, but then clean acidity and a stony minerality wash over the palate, making the finish dry. It's an interesting blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Viognier.
