Though the blend is predominantly Mourvèdre, the lesser amount of Grenache really stands out aromatically, with notes of strawberry liqueur and cinnamon spice jumping out. A black cherry flavor follows on the midpalate, and the soft tannins lend structure to the wine. Additions of Syrah and Counoise round out the blend.
