Hopes End 2016 Red (South Australia)

This full-bodied blend offers quiet notes of red and black fruit, wood spice, cumin and licorice. The palate is more giving, offering a juicy, plump plum flavor laced with dusty, grainy tannins. The fruit feels ultraripe and syrupy (although the wine is dry) and is a little disjointed. Christina Pickard
