The Hospices de Saumur is a charitable foundation, with the Clos Cristal one of the donations of vineyards. This young, fruity 2011 shows some rough, rustic edges while also giving full, red berry fruits and some tight tannins. For aging over the next 2–3 years when it will smooth out.
