Huge Bear 2012 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)

What this Pinot lacks in opulence, it makes up for in elegance. The construction is as severely tailored as an Italian suit. Bone dry and quite tart in acidity, the flavors tread a delicate balance between ripe red cherries and persimmons to greener notes of heirloom tomatoes. Aging is doubtful, so give it a good decant.
