Hugel 2013 Grossi Laüe Pinot Noir (Alsace)

Lovely lift and notions of autumnal oak leaf amid ripe cherry suggest some evolution on the subtle, appetizing nose of this wine. The palate shows vivid freshness paired with mellowing flavors and tannins that are superfine, retreating but still with residual grip. The final impression is one of harmony, effortless freshness and utter Pinot-ness. Anne Krebiehl MW
