Earth and leather aromas give it some personality, while violet, plum and blackberry form the base of the bouquet. The mouth is a touch rough and drying, but it houses both red and black fruit flavors along with chocolate. Lighter in weight than its Mendoza competition, but that's Patagonia in a nutshell.
