Husch 2005 Sauvignon Blanc (Mendocino)

This is one of the best twelve buck Sauvignon Blancs I've had this year. It's not just the enormous fruit, all figs and pineapples and melons, it's the acidity, which is so bright and mouth-cleansing. A touch of oak adds even richer notes. What a great house white.
