Hyland 2013 Chardonnay (McMinnville)

For those who enjoy substantial flavors of toasty oak with their Chardonnays, this is a good choice. Full-bodied and instantly appealing, it's got ripe fruit flavors of peach, banana and apricot, underscored with green apple acidity. The toastiness comes through in the finish, with a lick of salted caramel tickling the back of the throat. Paul Gregutt
