93pointsHyland 2017 Old Vine Single Vineyard Riesling (McMinnville)

Editors' Choice

Finished dry, this retains ample fresh fruit flavors and is one of the finest examples of old vine Riesling in the country. Aromatic notes of Meyer lemon, grapefruit (flesh and pith) and wet stone all combine and continue gracefully into a plush midpalate. Keep looking and you'll find orange candy and a light hint of peppermint—the depth and detail are exceptional. Paul Gregutt
