Who knew that Montepulciano could be brought to such heights? This is a special, uncommon wine. It's ripe, from a great vintage, and it is shining brightly now but will hold for another three to five years at least. Full of black cherry, berry skins and generous but balanced tannins. Perfect with osso buco or rack of lamb. Imported by Empson (USA) Ltd.
