Basic aromas of cherry and orange rind are reserved and proper, and at the bottom of the bouquet is a bit of tire rubber. Flavors of cherry, cranberry and pepper are carried by lively acidity. This is fresh, quaffable and dry; it isn't a packed-to-the-brim wine, but with food it'll work nicely. Michael Schachner
