Imagery 1999 Polesky Vineyard-Red Hill Vineyard Sangiovese (Sonoma County)

Earth, tobacco, licorice and black cherry aromas lead to a rich, fruity wine in the mouth. It's a bit heavy and quite acidic, with hefty tannins, and finishes very dry and rasping. This is a structured wine that needs food to mellow it.
