Indigené 2017 Barrel Select Cabernet Sauvignon (Carmel Valley)

Dried blackberry jam, crumpled rose petals and an array of purple flowers come through on the nose of this bottling from Carmel Valley, where winemaking goes back to the 1960s. The thick, hefty mouthfeel is supported by well polished tannins, delivering flavors of blackberry jam, licorice, white pepper, cocoa and coffee. Matt Kettmann
