Invivo 2018 Graham Norton's Own Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough)

Like the outgoing Irish comedian himself, Graham Norton's Own Sauvignon is a bombastic bottling that ticks all the Marlborough boxes. Unlike Norton, however, it does not stand out from the crowd. It meets the status quo without offering much in the way of interest. Heady aromas of lime, passion fruit, grapefruit and grass lead to a palate searing with cheek sucking acidity. The fruit is there, as is a slippery texture, but it's hard to get past all that acidity. Christina Pickard
