Iron Horse 2000 Thomas Road Pinot Noir (Sonoma County)

This beautifully balanced Pinot boasts aromas of dark fruit, leather and smoked meat. The subtly grained, mid-weight palate shows toast and tea accents over blackberry and plum. Finishes long, but hard and closed, with taut acids and drying tannins, espresso and black chocolate flavors. Drink 2004–2010.
