J. Bouchon 2004 Reserva Especial Malbec (Maule Valley)

Unrefined, chunky and reduced is how you'd best describe this compact Malbec that is packed too tight with unrelenting plum and berry fruit that also tastes of beets. Has its merits, but in the end it doesn't grow on your palate. Michael Schachner
