J. Christopher 2010 Lia's Vineyard Unfiltered Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

The first impression is of strawberry preserves, not jammy but with the texture and loose-knit fruit flavor of a fruit spread. Behind it are lip-licking veins of licorice and cola, finishing with dusty tannins. Chehalem dust? Don't rule it out. Paul Gregutt
