J. Coudray Bizot 2013 Les Cazétiers Premier Cru (Gevrey-Chambertin)

Flinty reduction still hovers and casts a spell of freshness and peppery verve over the clearly evolved nose of this wine. The palate falls into step with red-fruited, spicy intensity that has edges of autumnal, wet oak leaf and roast pumpkin. Red-fruited tartness makes the mouth water and adds a sprightly freshness to this slender but profound wine. It's like a vision of autumnal forest shot through with red-fruited energy. Drink by 2030.
