Razor-sharp acidity and zest is the thing that overrides this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère. At first the zip almost cuts through the palate, and only airing and patience brings it back to ground level. As it opens some cherry and raspberry enters the scene. Arguably too sharp for a blend of these two friendly grapes.
