92pointsJ. & F. Lurton 2003 Chacayes Malbec (Mendoza)

Cellar Selection

For the second straight year, Chacayes scores major points among serious Argentine wines competing for the world's attention. This blend of 80% Malbec and 20% Cabernet is deep, dark and seductive. It's all about compact, intense fruit supported by hefty tannins. Very nice and perfectly ripe. Hold a couple of years for best results. Michael Schachner
