92pointsJ. Heinrich 2017 Ried Siglos Red (Burgenland)

Juicy plum, aromatic blueberry and the tar-like notes of smoky oak on the nose all come together on a rather sinuous and totally fresh palate. This is juicy but elegant, compact but fine, smooth but fresh. It is a total little cracker of a wine, with so much to enjoy. That aromatic blueberry is a real blast on the finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
