This is an easy wine to like. It does have some firm tannins from oak aging that the Portuguese like, but it also has ripe fruit, plenty of black-plum skins and bright ripe acidity. Together, this combination is full bodied and will benefit from a few more months of aging. Drink from late 2018. Roger Voss
