This limited-production Pinot is too inky black, tannic and full-bodied for a variety that's supposed to be delicate. But it's so good to drink that only a Pinot ideologue would criticize it for being atypical. Few Pinots are this rich in black cherries, with complexing notes ranging from cola to Marnier liqueur and crispy bacon.
