Jacob's Creek 1997 Reserve Chardonnay (Padthaway)

A vanilla-tinged apple bouquet makes an immediate impression. Soft and seemingly sweet, accented by oak, this medium-bodied wine shows plenty of pineapple fruit. The finish is dominated by spicy oak. A formula-made wine for the American mass market-lots of oak and lots of fruit. Joe Czerwinski
