Jacobsdal 2003 Pinotage (Stellenbosch)

Jacobsdal has been making wine for nearly four decades and with this Pinotage, the producer's years of experience show. The aromas are typical of South African Pinotage: smoke, banana, red berry and plum. Flavors of raspberry and cherry are framed by structured but subtle tannins. The wine is assertive but avoids the edge of many Pinotages. Susan Kostrzewa
