Jacopo Poli Torcolato Grape Brandy

The bouquet smells unappealingly of vinyl or plastic, shoe leather and Styrofoam. Entry features underwhelming flavors of wax, paraffin and fiber; the midpalate, at least, sees a trace of fruitiness allied with a mossy earthiness. Finish is moderately ripe, minimally grapy, tea-like and austere. P.P.
