Jamesport 2017 Cutchogue Native Cabernet Franc (North Fork of Long Island)

Cohesive aromas of ripe cranberry and cherry blend with anise and lavender on the compact nose. This red saw extended maceration on Teroldego skins and was aged 16 months in new old French oak. It's juicy and grippy on the palate, driven by bright shots of red berry flavors matched by herb and spice accents. The structure is seamless yet supportive, with depth of flavor and a crushed-velvet texture extending from start to finish. Alexander Peartree
