Cold Creek is arguable Ch. Ste. Michelle's premiere vineyard; Januik was their winemaker until recently, and they generously offered him fruit for his new winery. He's taken the crisp, ripe, perfectly defined fruit of the vineyard and ramped it up; new oak adds layers of toast and the grapes seem extra ripe, with a honeyed richness. Exceptional.
