A robust and flavorful Chardonnay, this exhibits superb balance between the ripe fruit, woodspice and vibrant acidity. Notes of baked apple, clove-spiked orange, toasted hazelnut and peach pit abound on the nose and palate, with added hits of citrus pith, honeysuckle and lemon verbena that add grace and elegance. It's medium in weight, with a lightly textured grip and lively acidity that lifts the sweet-spiced finish. It's hard to resist now, but should mature well through 2023.
